The Purpose of the Program
The purpose of the Back-End Software Development Associate Degree Program is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to develop systems such as databases, server management, and application logic, which operate behind web and mobile applications. The program covers topics like database design, server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, PHP), API development, security measures, and data management. Students learn to design, develop, and maintain complex systems, creating back-end applications that meet industry requirements by optimizing data security and performance.
